Sims 2 – Items that make the game crash?
I’ve had the game for a while now, and i’ve just been ignoring the problems with it, but they’re really starting to get on my nerves.
There are many pieces of furniture that make the game crash.
crib
any plumbing (toilet, bathtub, shower, hot tub, etc.)
pizza box
champagne bottle
coffee maker
clothes rack
and possibly more but i can’t remember them all.
Also, one action makes it crash – asking to be seated at a restaurant. When the game crashes, the whole screen freezes for a minute, then everything turns blue, then black, then the mouse comes back but nothing happens.
does anyone know what the problem is? I already know it isn’t because of custom content. Thank you !
Yeah, when I got Apartment Life, I had forgotten to properly remove certain mods for the install process and replace them afterwords, and the result was the game crashing whenever I so much as hovering the mouse over the gigantic fish tank that comes with it in Buy Mode. I simply reinstalled, and the problem was gone. Have you tried/considered reinstalling?
